Year 2 project, robot arm(week1)

Week 1:
In
our first meeting, we developed a plan to make sure that the project will be
finished in the followed 5 weeks, at this stage we were divided in to two
groups, group 1 was responsible for the coding part, as they did some research
over the most suitable coding program for programming the robotic arm to move
using a remote control, meanwhile group 2 was searching for design of the robot
arm with the most efficiency, furthermore, the team design a body car with 4
wheels and an arm attached to it, the wheel will provide motion to the arm
which increases it's advantage.
In
the lab, we started with connecting the body car to a small voltmeter, battery
holder, four wheels and motors, Arduino board so we can program the car and the
arm, wifi deceive to command the car by a remote control, meanwhile the arm was
formed by comping the left and right parts, three motors, holder, swing arm and
a mechanical gripper which allows holding of an object to be manipulated.
Finally the arm and the car where joint by a base connected to both of
them on each end.

Next week aim is to
